What’s New in LumaBooth
- Roaming Photographer Mode
LumaBooth’s Roaming Photographer Mode allows photographers to capture photos and videos anywhere at an event and instantly share them with guests. This feature is ideal for events where mobility is required rather than a stationary setup. Settings → Capture Settings → Photo → Roaming photographer mode.
Features:- Canon/Nikon/Sony: Photos can now be taken using the camera shutter button, with images automatically downloaded.
- Built-in Camera: Capture starts immediately, similar to the native camera app.
- Countdown minimum reduced to zero for faster captures.
- A new session starts when the camera shutter button is pressed while on the sharing screen.
- Sharing screen can be set to zero to skip sharing screen in case sharing is not needed or it will be done on LumaShare.

- Sony Camera Support: We now support the majority of Sony cameras manufactured since 2019.
- PAL Recording to Fix Flickering: Added PAL recording support to avoid flickering LED lights in videos for use in 50Hz regions such as Europe, Asia, South America to avoid light flicker. Settings → Camera Settings → Record in PAL.
- 360/Boomerang Dark Screen Issue: Fixed an issue where the first frame of the video appeared as a black screen when using Record on Motion with a countdown of zero.
- Live View Mirroring: External camera live view now mirrors correctly to match the internal camera.
- Print 2 Copies Per Page: Users can now print two strips per page, even with custom paper sizes.
Bug Fixes:
- Multiple SMS Issue: Fix for multiple SMS messages getting sent.
- Fixed App Freezing on White Screen: Issue resolved where the app would freeze on a white screen after countdown completion.
- Thumbnail Visibility Fix: Thumbnails are now hidden when only one photo is used in a print layout.
- Event Selection Fix: Resolved an issue where an event had to be selected twice for the preview to update.
- Custom Font Display Issue: Fonts now render correctly without being cut off.
- Disclaimer Text Fix: Custom disclaimer text now persists after app restarts.
- Sorting Display Issue: Ensured proper chronological order when transitioning between years.
- After Reinstall, Welcome Screen Fix: Event welcome screens now load correctly after reinstalling the app.
- Camera Connection Message Fix: Removed misleading connection error message when no external camera is in use.
