dslrBooth is transitioning from an annual license system to a new improved subscription system to be able to offer you more frequent updates, premium hosting, continued support, and the reliability you have come to expect. The new model paves the way for us to develop many new and exciting features that we will be sharing with you very soon. Subscriptions will be tied to your fotoShare Cloud account and you will no longer need to enter in serial numbers.
Older Versions
You have the option to upgrade to dslrBooth 7 if you wish to use the new features. Existing and past customers get a great promotional offer to update to this new version.
At this time, dslrBooth 6 and older will not automatically show the dslrBooth 7 update. Existing and new customers can download dslrBooth 7 from dslrBooth.com/download
You may choose to continue to use the same version you have without the new updates. Older versions will continue to work but will not include any of the new features in dslrBooth v7. We will continue to offer support for our existing customers with a renewed dslrBooth v6 license as long as their license has not expired. New dslrBooth v6 licenses and renewals are no longer available for purchase. dslrBooth cloud features are not guaranteed to continue working after you license updates expire.
Subscriptions
Existing Customers with Active or Renewed Licenses
For customers who renewed their license and are eligible for updates, you will automatically receive a FREE year of updates (as of the date of subscription purchase) through our new subscription system by going through the new checkout process.
Each previous license will be converted into a subscription that allows for use on the same number of computers as you had with your licenses. So if you had two licenses, you will continue to be able to use the software on four computers. Additional computers added after that will be billed at the current price of $17/month per computer when billed yearly.
Make sure all your serial numbers are recorded in your fotoShare Cloud account before signing up for the subscription to get the correct discount applied. Once done, visit fotoShare Cloud > App Subscriptions > dslrBooth and the discount will reflect all your computers.
Existing Customers with Expired Licenses
For customers whose license has expired: You’ll automatically receive a 50% discount off an annual subscription to dslrBooth of any quantity. Your first two computers will be $17 / month when billed yearly. You can add individual computers for separately.
New Customers
dslrBooth offers you the best value in the photo booth industry with the most features and updates at an unmatched price. Your first subscription can be used on two computers. Additional computers added after that will be billed at the current price per computer of $17/month per computer when billed yearly.

Standard Edition
The standard edition of dslrBooth has been discontinued. Subscriptions include all features that are included in the Professional edition. Customers with active and lapsed licenses are eligible for the same upgrade offers as mentioned above.
